MAGNESIUM OIL

We are the distributors of Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil in New Zealand. We chose to stock this superior magnesium chloride oil range for a few special reasons.

1. ULTRA PURE - It is ultra pure and located from a remote underground source, the Zechstein   sea bed, which is billions of years old.

2. NO MAN MADE POLLUTANTS - Because this sea bed is under ground and was formed billions of years ago before the industrial revolution it's free from pollution.

3. Genuine Zechstein - Magnesium Chloride is 100% naturally occurring, solvent free and contaminant free.

4. TRANSDERMAL - Some individuals have issues absorbing all the goodness from their magnesium supplement.  This product is absorbed through the biggest organ in the body, i.e.the skin, so it can penetrate and be absorbed up to 12 times faster than oral supplementation.

Magnesium Chloride

Magnesium Chloride is a form of magnesium that can be found in dietary supplements, food and topical formulations. Because your body does not produce magnesium you need to absorb it from your diet. Ancient Minerals Magnesium Chloride oil isn't actually an oil, it is really concentrated seawater from an ultra pure and remote sea bed found underground. Over the years the sea water has evaporated leaving a condensed source of magnesium chloride which has been bottled and which you can now buy online.

How to Make Magnesium Oil

You can buy Magnesium Oil in a spray bottle, but if you would like to mix it up at home you can simply combine Magnesium Flakes with water. This can then be used for a restorative and relaxing bath, or popped into a spray bottle to be used as needed. Some people enjoy mixing up coconut oil, shea butter, lavender and magnesium chloride for a relaxing, sleepy magnesium oil body butter.

Magnesium Benefits

Magnesium is an important mineral in the body and supports hundreds of biological functions from the heart, to the brain, nervous system, calcium absorption, teeth and bone health, metabolism, energy, and muscles along with numerous other processes. By fueling your body with the right vitamins, minerals and nutrition it can run at its best.

Magnesium Oil Side Effects

Magnesium oil should not be used on broken skin or it may cause stinging.  If you have sensitive skin I recommend diluting it down to 1/2 water and 1/2 magnesium oil or choosing the magnesium lotion to prevent skin irritation. If you experience any sort of itching or burning sensations simply rinse off with water and be sure to dilute it for your next application.

Magnesium Oil Uses

It can be used as an alternative to magnesium supplements if you are worried about losing nutrients in the digestive tract.

Perfect for athletes or bikram yoga enthusiasts who are sweating or in high temperatures that cause them to lose magnesium.

It is also great in a relaxing bath or foot soak.

Or for those who like to multi task, the body lotion is perfect as part of your regular skincare regime as it melts into your skin with shea butter and coconut leaving you nourished and ready to take on your day.

Magnesium and MSM

The new magnesium oil ultra range has combined the power of MSM, known for its detoxification properties, and ultra pure magnesium oil. This product is great for people with sensitive skin and comes in the oil, lotion or flakes formulation. Page updated 22/06/17 4:22:13 a.m.
