Weight loss tips

  • Don't starve yourself - aim for a healthy metabolism.
  • Lessen your sugar intake. Take note that carbs turn into sugar too. This helps reduce appetite, bloating and water weight too.
  • Balance your protein, fat and carb intake. High protein food can trick your body into feeling full therefore reducing late night craving. Meat, fish, seafood and eggs are the major sources of protein. Low carb vegetables on the other hand contain all the fibre. While healthy fat such as olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and butter can boost your metabolism.
  • Burn those calories! Exercise benefits your metabolism by preventing it from slowing down. If you're too busy for lifting weights, you can try running, jogging, swimming or walking.
  • Drink plenty of water. Drinking water 30 minutes before a meal helps you lose weight.
  • Opt for weight loss friendly foods
  • Smaller plates will help you eat less.
  • Get plenty of good sleep.
