Arrived fast - at my door

I ordered a few products during the week as I did not have time to get to the shops, they arrived 2 days later, and I had the courier put them in the bbq so I did not have to be home to receive them. Great!

Terrible

Terrible. I ordered online initially for the convenience (i.e. not having to visit a store, deal with parking etc) but actually my Family Brands experience was highly inconvenient. I bought an item, received an email in return saying we won't charge your card until we are sure we have the item in stock (fair enough) but after 2 days of not receiving an email to tell me whether you have them in stock or not, I phoned up to cancel my order. The order was cancelled fine, but I never received a confirmation email to verify that the transaction was in fact cancelled so I was left checking my bank account for the next few days to make sure I was still wasn't charged (I wasn't, thankfully). The products seem reasonably priced but without good customer service and clear communication, I wouldn't shop here again.

Hi Michelle, We never charge a card until we have stock in the store. We confirmed the cancellation over the phone so there was no need to send another email. We never charged your card, so there was no need to send an email.
